 In Nigeria, a dedicated TPE team has spent the last year raising 1,000 seedlings of bush mango, a sustainable non-timber forest product which local people can use for household consumption. Last month, they sold the seedlings and are using the funds to support their environmental education.
The Young Earth team of Bangalore, India, won a Bronze TPE Service Award for their anti-litter campaign. This brought attention to their work and now they've been granted permission to start an environmental club in college!
